Aptamil is suitable for most babies from birth through 12 months of age. These products meet all FDA nutrition requirements for infant formula and provide the nutrition needed to support growth and development of healthy infants.

Please note, these products are not hypoallergenic and not intended for babies with cow’s milk allergies.

*For Aptamil First Milk - for infants born prematurely or with a low birthweight, with low iron levels at birth, or infants who are at risk for becoming iron deficient due to illness, additional iron may be necessary. Aptamil First Infant Milk powder infant formula provides 0.8 mg of iron/100 kcal (0.53 mg/100 ml). This level of iron is appropriate for normal-birth-weight, healthy, term infants and is consistent with European recommendations (EFSA, 2014; ESPGHAN CON 2014). Infants born prematurely or at a low-birth-weight have higher iron requirements and may require supplementation. Speak to your child’s pediatrician about the potential need for iron supplementation if your child was born prematurely, at a low birth weight or was born with low iron levels.
